We are the Coalition for a Clean Green Saskatchewan, some of us have been at this for many years, working around the issue of uranium mining here. More recently, Bruce Power has done a study saying a reactor is feasible here. Not sure what else they’d say. Last October, our provincial government appointed a Uranium Development Partnership to tell us how to ”add value” to our uranium resource. The panel members include CEO’S of Bruce Power, Cameco and Areva, and our friend Dr. Patrick Moore, to name just a few. We are now going into ”public consultations” on the panel’s report which recommends, among other things, nuclear waste disposal.

The good news is Saskatchewan citizens are actively seeking independent and critical information and are calling the government to task for mounting a stacked process. I will post your news link on our site so our viewers will get a better sense of what’s going on across our great land.
