According to its Constitution, the World Health Organization is “the directing and coordinating authority on international health issues.” This is unfortunately not true in the area of radiation and health. WHO is unable to fulfill its constitutional mandate in the critically important area of radiation and health because of the 1959 Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the official lobby of the nuclear industry. http://www.independentwho.info/
